# Have AI call florists: same-day flowers, prices, delivery

> Tell your agent what you want (a dozen roses, a sympathy arrangement, a lei), the budget, the date, and pickup or delivery. ## What the florist will ask

`plan_call` recognizes florist calls. It flags what you want and a budget, the date and time, and for deliveries, the address, the recipient and the card message. Florists ask:

- The arrangement, the flowers or colors, and the size or budget.
- The date and time it's needed.
- For delivery: the address, the recipient's name, a phone at the venue, and the card message.
- Your name and number, and how you'll pay.

## Questions worth asking

- Can you have it ready, or delivered, by that time?
- What's the total with delivery and any fees?
- If a flower is out, what would you substitute?
- Do you deliver to funeral homes, hospitals or that venue?
- What's the cutoff to order for same-day?

## How call_around works for florists

`query: "florist"` with `queries: ["flower shop"]` and `near` set to the delivery address, not your home. `count: 4` is usually enough. Add `stop_after: 1` with "order it if they can" in the goal to stop once one says yes.

## FAQ

### Can it find flowers for today?

Yes. Same-day is where calling beats a website: the florist knows what's in the cooler right now. Ask for the ready time and whether they'll substitute a flower they're out of.

### Can it place the order?

Yes, if your goal says to and the florist takes orders by phone. Most want a card to pay, which the assistant never reads out, so the florist will send a payment link or you call back to pay.

### What about grocery store floral departments?

They count too, and they're often cheaper for leis, simple bouquets and same-day pickup. The assistant works the store's phone menu and asks for the floral department.
