# Cocall vs CallForMe: per-minute calling or per-call for your agent

> Cocall (cocall.ai, RadishAI) and CallForMe (callforme.tel, Great Work LLC) both let an MCP agent place real phone calls and ask you mid-call. Cocall bills $0.12 a minute and shows your own caller ID, after you sign in. CallForMe bills $1 per answered call, asks for no sign-in, and calls many places at once.

## What Cocall is

Cocall is an AI calling service at [cocall.ai](https://cocall.ai), made by RadishAI, Inc., in open beta. Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and other MCP clients use it to place calls over the phone network. It works phone menus and hold, pings your agent or you mid-call (by Slack, email, SMS, push or webhook) when it needs a decision, leaves voicemails and redials on a schedule, and keeps audio, a transcript and a reasoning trace for each call.

## FAQ

### Which is cheaper?

For most calls, Cocall: $0.12 a minute, so a 2-minute call is about $0.24, against $1 at CallForMe. CallForMe charges nothing when nobody answers, the line is busy or a quick voicemail picks up. Prices checked October 31, 2026.

### Can either one call from my own number?

Cocall's Operator plan lists "Caller ID: yours". CallForMe calls from its own number, (469) 966-0062, which takes messages and passes them to you.

### How do I connect each one?

Cocall asks you to sign in before the first call. CallForMe asks for nothing: add https://callforme.tel/mcp, click Connect, and a one-time $5 setup link comes with your first real call.

### Can each one call several businesses at once?

CallForMe's call_around finds and calls 1 to 100 places with the same questions, up to 10 at a time, and returns one table. Cocall's site mentions spend caps and rate limits but doesn't describe a batch tool, as of October 31, 2026.
