# Pricing

> You pay $1 per answered call, which includes the first 5 minutes, then $0.25 per minute, up to 30 minutes. Unanswered, busy and failed calls cost nothing. You start with a $10 prepaid balance. Auto-reload adds $10 when you drop below $2, and you can turn it off. Your balance never expires.

## Why prepaid

A $1 card charge loses a big share to card fees. A prepaid balance keeps the per-call price low. You add $10 once through Stripe Checkout, on the one setup link your agent shows at its first real call, and calls come out of that. Your card is saved for auto-reload, so you won't see that page again. Adding CallForMe to another agent links it to the same balance in one click.

## Auto-reload

When your balance drops below $2, CallForMe adds $10 so a call doesn't fail halfway through a batch. It's on by default. You can turn it off with one toggle; your agent can show you the link with the `account` tool.

## FAQ

### Is there a subscription?

No. You add a prepaid balance and each call is deducted from it. There's no monthly fee.

### Do planning and lookups cost anything?

No. plan_call, find_business and pricing are free to use, before or after you add a balance.

### What if the call goes to voicemail?

If you didn't set a voicemail_message, the assistant hangs up and you're not charged. If you did and it leaves the message, it counts as an answered call.

### Does hold time count?

Yes. Once the call connects, every minute counts, including time spent in the phone menu and on hold.

### Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Any agent can call the demo line, Maple Street Pizza, a fictional restaurant at (469) 770-7412, for free with no payment, up to 5 calls a day. Creators can also ask for credits through the creator program.
