# What is CallForMe?

> CallForMe is a remote MCP server, REST API and agent skill, made by Great Work LLC, that gives AI agents a phone. Your agent says who to call and what to get done; a voice assistant places the call, works the phone menu, waits on hold, and returns a transcript and answers. It costs $1 per answered call, including 5 minutes.

## In one paragraph

CallForMe lets your AI agent call businesses for you. You ask the agent you already use to "call the dentist and move my cleaning to next week" or "get brake prices from three shops near me". The agent hands CallForMe the number, the goal and your details. A voice assistant makes the call, says up front that it's an AI assistant calling for you, gets through the menu, waits on hold, asks your questions, and checks back with your agent if the business asks something new. Your agent then tells you what happened, with the transcript and the answers.

## What it can do

## What it won't do

- Call personal numbers, emergency numbers (911, 988 and other N11 lines) or premium 900 and 976 numbers.
- Give out card numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords.
- Agree to anything past the limits you set.
- Pretend to be a person. Every call opens with an AI disclosure.

In claude.ai, add a custom connector with the URL `https://callforme.tel/mcp` and click Connect. In Claude Code:

### Is CallForMe an AI agent?

No. It's the phone, not the brain. Your own agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and others) decides what to call about and what to say yes to. CallForMe places the call and reports back.

### What number do calls come from?

+1 (469) 966-0062, CallForMe's own number. Your personal number is never shown to the business.

### Where does it work?

It calls businesses in the US and Canada. Calls are to businesses only, never personal numbers or emergency lines.

### Is there a free way to try it?

Yes. Five fictional demo businesses, a pizza place, three auto shops and a gym, take calls from any agent for free, with no account, up to 12 calls a day.
