CallForMe calls the store's customer service line, asks whether they'll adjust the price on your order, and reports the answer: the amount, how it comes back (card or store credit), and any reference number. If they need to verify the account holder, the assistant connects you with transfer_to. **Say to your agent:** "Call the store where I bought my stand mixer (order 4471-2208, paid $349 on November 10) and ask for a price adjustment: it's $279 on their site today. Get the amount, whether it goes back to my card, and a reference number. If they need to verify me, connect me at (214) 555-0147." Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and plenty of things bought earlier in November go on sale that week. Many stores will refund the difference if you ask within their window. Asking usually means a phone menu and a hold. ## What your agent does 1. **Gathers the facts**: the store, the order number, the date and price you paid, and the sale price with where it's listed. 2. **Calls customer service**, works the menu and waits on hold. 3. **Asks for the adjustment** on your order, and asks what they'd offer instead if the answer is no. 4. **Gets the details**: the amount, whether it goes to your card or store credit, how long it takes, and a reference number. 5. **Reports back** with a transcript. If the store needs to verify you, it connects you once a person is on the line. ## What to give your agent - The store and the order number. - What you paid and on what date. - The sale price and where you saw it (the store's site, a flyer, another store). - Your phone number for `transfer_to`, in case they verify the account holder. ## Good to know - Windows are often short, commonly a couple of weeks after purchase, so call soon after you see the sale. - Some stores exclude Black Friday, doorbuster and clearance prices. The assistant asks, rather than assuming. - A return and repurchase sometimes gets the same result when an adjustment isn't allowed. The assistant reports that option and its deadline. ## What it costs $1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes, then $0.40 a minute, up to 30 minutes. A call nobody answers costs nothing.
