# Call a prescription savings or copay program with AI

> Give your agent the program's phone number from the program's own website or card, the medication, and your member ID if you have one. CallForMe calls, works the menu, waits on hold, and asks your question: whether you qualify, the status of an enrollment or a claim, or why a card was declined. When they need to verify the patient, it connects you with transfer_to.

**Say to your agent:** "Call the savings program for my medication at the number on the back of my card. Ask why my last pharmacy claim was declined and what I need to send them. My member ID is 1234567. If they need to verify me, connect me at (214) 555-0147."

Drug makers' savings and copay programs often run on phone lines with long menus, and the questions that matter (why a card was declined, what an enrollment is waiting on) usually need a person. Your agent can get through the menu and hold, ask, and bring you in only when they need to verify.

## What your agent does

1. **Calls the program** at the number you give it from the program's own website or card.
2. **Works the menu and waits on hold** for a representative.
3. **Asks your question**, with the medication and member ID you passed along.
4. **Connects you** with `transfer_to` when they need the patient or a caregiver to verify, so you don't sit through the hold yourself.
5. **Reports back** what they said: next steps, documents to send, reference numbers.

## What to give your agent

- The program's phone number, from its site or the back of your card.
- The medication name and your member or card ID.
- The exact question, and anything they'll likely ask, such as your pharmacy's name.
- Your number as `transfer_to`, for the verification step.

## FAQ

### Will the program talk to an AI assistant?

For general questions, usually. Anything about your account usually needs the patient or a caregiver to verify. Pass your number as transfer_to and the assistant connects you for that part, then you take it from there.

### What should I give my agent?

The program's number from its own site or card, the medication name, your member or card ID, and the exact question. Leave out your Social Security number and full date of birth: the assistant never reads those out, and the program can ask you directly once you're connected.

### Can it enroll me?

It can ask what enrollment needs and whether you're likely to qualify, then report back. Programs usually finish enrollment with the patient, online or on the phone, so plan to do that step yourself.
