Use CallForMe in Le Chat (Mistral)

Short answer: In Le Chat, open Connectors, click + Add Connector, switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab, name it callforme and paste https://callforme.tel/mcp, then click Connect and finish the sign-in tab. Only an admin can add one; on Free, Pro and Student plans that's the account owner. The first real call returns one setup link to add $5.

Le Chat can find the business you need. With CallForMe connected, it can also call them and tell you what they said.

Install in Le Chat

  1. Open the Connectors page.
  2. Click + Add Connector, then switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.
  3. Name it callforme and paste the server URL: https://callforme.tel/mcp
  4. Click Connect and finish the sign-in step. A tab opens and closes by itself: no email, no form, no card. That creates your CallForMe account.

Steps are from Mistral's MCP connector docs, checked November 4, 2026. Adding a custom connector is an administrator-only feature; on Free, Pro and Student plans the account owner is the administrator.

Mistral's docs also say custom connectors don't yet support dynamic tool discovery, resources or automatic prompt templates. CallForMe's tools work without those; its prompt templates just won't show up as presets.

If the sign-in doesn't work

Use a URL that needs no sign-in instead:

  • A personal URL, https://callforme.tel/mcp/k/<your key>, using a key you create on the account page.
  • https://callforme.tel/mcp/open, which needs nothing. Le Chat gets a setup link in each new chat unless it keeps the account_key it receives.

Treat a personal URL like a password: anyone with it can place calls on your balance.

Your first real call

The first time Le Chat places a real call, CallForMe returns a one-time setup link. Open it, check the call it describes, and add $5. The call starts by itself a few seconds after you pay. Details in how setup links work.

Which Le Chat plans can add a custom connector?

Mistral's docs say custom MCP connectors are an administrator-only feature, and that the account owner is the administrator by default on Free, Pro and Student plans. In a team workspace, ask your admin to add it.

How does Le Chat sign in to CallForMe?

Le Chat detects the server's sign-in method by itself. CallForMe uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, which Mistral lists as supported: a tab opens and closes with no email, form or card.

Does Le Chat call the business itself?

No. Le Chat decides who to call and what to ask; CallForMe places the call with its own voice assistant, works the phone menu, waits on hold and sends the answers back to Le Chat.
