What your agent can call businesses about
With CallForMe installed, your AI agent can phone US and Canadian businesses for you. It books tables and appointments, gets quotes from several places at once, checks stock and hours, waits on hold and patches you in, and asks about bills and cancellations. Each call returns a transcript and the answers.
How every call works
You ask your agent in plain words. Your agent uses CallForMe's tools: find_business to get the number and hours, plan_call to check the goal and see what the business may ask, place_call to dial, and get_call to follow along. If the business asks something your agent wasn't told, it shows up as a pending question, and your agent answers with answer_question while the line waits. When the call ends, you get a transcript, the answers, and the outcome.
Every call opens with "Hi, I'm an automated assistant calling on behalf of" your name. See safety and disclosure.

Questions
Which agents can place these calls?
Any agent that supports remote MCP servers, like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. Agents with a shell can use the REST API with curl.
What kinds of calls aren't allowed?
CallForMe only calls businesses. No telemarketing, harassment, or impersonation, and no emergency or premium-rate numbers like 911 or 900 lines.
Can my agent call several places at once?
Yes. Each call is independent, so your agent can start one per business in parallel and compare the answers.
How much does a call cost?
$1 per answered call, including the first 5 minutes, then $0.25 a minute. Unanswered, busy, and failed calls are free.
