Getting three or four contractor quotes is the advice everyone gives and almost nobody follows, because each call is five minutes of explaining the same job. Your agent can explain it four times at once.

What your agent does

1. find_business with query: "plumber" near your address. Your agent keeps four with good ratings that are open now.
2. plan_call once. It flags questions plumbers usually ask: do you have the new faucet already, is there a shutoff valve under the sink, what floor.
3. place_call four times in parallel with identical details and questions:

4. get_call on all four call_ids until each is ended. Mid-call questions like "is the house on a slab?" show up as pending_question for your agent to answer with answer_question.

Tips

• Say who supplies the part. Labor-only and parts-included quotes aren't comparable, and plumbers will ask.
• Ask about the trip fee every time. It's the most common surprise on the invoice.
• Want a message left on voicemail? Set voicemail_message. That counts as an answered call ($1), so skip it if you'd rather just try someone else.
• Book with a second call once you've picked, and include the quoted price so it gets confirmed.

What it costs

$1 per company that answers. Four plumbers is at most $4 if every call stays under 5 minutes.
