Get house cleaning quotes from several services at once
Short answer: Give your agent the bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, pets, and whether you want a deep clean, a move-out clean or a regular visit. CallForMe calls cleaning services near you and asks each one the price, what the visit includes, whether they bring supplies, whether they're insured, and the first opening. You get one table. Each answered call is $1.

Getting a cleaning quote means describing your home the same way to every company: bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet, pets, how dirty is "dirty." Your agent can do that once and ask every service the same questions, so the prices are comparable instead of five different packages.

What your agent does
- call_around with "house cleaning service" and your zip finds services near you and calls them, several at a time.
- Every service hears the same description, so price differences mean something.
- You pick from the table, and your agent books the first visit with one more call.

Questions worth asking
- Price for the first clean and for each regular visit, and is there a contract or minimum number of visits?
- What's in a standard clean vs a deep clean? What are the add-ons and their prices?
- Do they bring supplies, or use yours? Any product they won't use, or will use on request?
- Same cleaner every time, or a rotating team?
- Insured? Employees or contractors? Background checks?
- Cancellation and lockout fees, and how much notice they need?

Illustrative example: names, prices and times are made up.
| Service | Deep clean | Every 2 weeks | Supplies | Insured | First opening |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Poncey Clean Co | $340 | $165 | Brings them | Yes, employees | Tue Oct 21 |
| Highland Home Care | $295 | $150 | Brings them | Yes, contractors | Mon Oct 27 |
| Morningside Maids | Needs a walkthrough | $175 | Brings them | Yes | Walkthrough Thu |
| Virginia Ave Cleaning | $380 incl. inside oven + fridge | $160 | Uses yours | Yes | Fri Oct 24 |
Two services didn't answer, which cost nothing. Your agent's summary: "Highland is cheapest, but Virginia Ave's deep clean includes the oven and fridge, which are add-ons elsewhere ($35 each at Poncey). Want me to book one?"
Agency or individual: a tax note
This isn't tax advice. IRS Publication 926 says that if an agency provides the worker and controls what work is done and how, the worker isn't your household employee. If a worker is your household employee, Social Security and Medicare taxes apply once you pay $3,000 or more in cash wages in 2026 (IRS Publication 926). A cleaner who runs an independent business and offers services to the public generally isn't your employee either. If you're comparing an agency with an independent cleaner, ask how they work, and read the publication.
What trips these calls up
- "Depends on the condition." Deep and move-out cleans often need photos or a walkthrough. Your agent records that and the next step.
- Comparing packages. One company's standard clean includes baseboards, another's doesn't. The included-and-extra question is the one that makes prices comparable.
- Pets. Shedding pets add time, and some services ask about them up front. Say so in details.
What it costs
Six services, four answer, all within 2 minutes: $4. The booking call afterward is usually one more $1.

Questions
Will cleaning services quote by phone?
Some give a price or range from bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage, especially for a regular visit. Others want a walkthrough or photos before a deep or move-out clean. Your agent notes which is which.
Why call companies instead of hiring one person directly?
That's your call to make, but there's a tax difference. The IRS says a worker provided by an agency that controls what work is done and how isn't your household employee. If you hire someone directly and control how the work is done, they may be, and household employment taxes apply once you pay $3,000 or more in cash wages in 2026.
What should the call ask about insurance?
Ask whether the company carries liability insurance and whether cleaners are employees or contractors. Ask for a certificate of insurance by email if it matters to you or your landlord.
Can it book the first clean?
Yes. After you pick, your agent calls back to book with your address, entry instructions and a callback number in details. It never shares door codes on a quote call.
