Have AI call pest control companies for you
Short answer: Say what you're seeing, where, and your zip. CallForMe calls pest control companies near you and asks each for the inspection fee, the price of a one-time treatment and of a recurring plan, the prep you need to do, and the first visit. Each answered call costs $1, and calls nobody answers are free.
Pest control companies sell two things on the phone: a first visit and a plan. The first visit is what you're comparing; the plan is what they'd like to sell. Ask for both prices separately and you can tell which company is cheaper for the problem you have.

Call 4 pest control companies near 85016 about ants in the kitchen. Ask the price for a one-time treatment, the price of their quarterly plan, whether the inspection is free, and if it's safe for a dog the same day.
Other pest control calls:
- "Find a pest company near 32789 that does wood-destroying insect reports for a home sale closing on the 24th. Price and how soon the written report comes."
- "Ask 3 exterminators about mice in the attic. Do they seal entry points, or only set traps? Price for each."
- "Call pest control companies about bed bugs in one bedroom. Heat or chemical, price, and how many visits."
What the company will ask
"Pest" and "exterminator" put the call in the trades category in plan_call, which flags the service address or zip and when you're home. Pest companies are route businesses: they quote and schedule by which technician covers your area that day.
One wording trap: plan_call reads "termite inspection quote" as a vehicle quote, because "inspection" followed by "quote" matches the car pattern, and then marks a year, make and model as blocking. Put the price word first and name the trade ("ask pest control companies the price of a termite inspection") and it reads as a trades call.
Other things they ask:
- What are you seeing, where, and for how long?
- Square footage of the home, and is it one or two stories?
- Any pets, kids, or someone pregnant at home? That changes the product they use.
- Do you rent? Some landlords handle pest control.
Questions worth asking
- Is the inspection free, and if not, is the fee credited to treatment?
- One-time treatment price.
- Plan price per visit and per year, how often they come, and how to cancel.
- Free re-service if the pests come back between visits?
- How long before pets and kids can go back in the treated area?
- What prep do you need from me (empty cabinets, move furniture)?
How call_around works for pest control
query: "pest control" near your zip, count: 4, no stop_after, so you get four prices for the same job. Pest companies often cover a wide area, so if results are thin, add a second area with nears. For a home sale with a deadline, stop_after: 1 with a goal that says "can deliver a written report by the 20th" stops at the first one that can.
What trips these calls up
- The plan pitch. The rep may only want to talk about the yearly plan. The assistant asks for the one-time price directly and records both.
- Contracts with a minimum term. Some plans run 12 months. The assistant asks about the term and cancellation, but doesn't agree to one unless your goal says to.
- Inspection-only answers. For termites and bed bugs, "we have to see it" is the normal answer. The useful result is the inspection fee and the earliest slot.
What it costs
$1 per company that answers, including 5 minutes. Four companies, three answer, one call runs 8 minutes while the rep explains the plan options: $3.75. The one that didn't pick up costs nothing.

Questions
Will they quote over the phone?
For common pests like ants or roaches, many give a price for a first treatment once they know the square footage. Termites, bed bugs and rodents usually need an inspection first, so ask what the inspection costs and whether it's credited.
Will the assistant sign me up for a plan?
No, unless your goal says it can. If a company pitches a yearly contract, the assistant records the price and terms and leaves the decision to you.
Can it get a termite inspection for a home purchase?
Yes. Say it's for a sale and when closing is, since lenders and buyers often need a written report by a date. Ask whether the report is included and how fast it arrives.
Why did plan_call ask about my car?
When "inspection" comes before a price word, as in "termite inspection quote", plan_call reads it as a vehicle quote. Put the price word first and name the trade: "ask pest control companies the price of a termite inspection."
