Find vendors for an event by having AI call around
Short answer: Give your agent the event, the date and place, what you need from the vendor and what to confirm (availability, a ballpark price, insurance). CallForMe calls the vendors near you in parallel with call_around, up to 10 at a time, and returns one table of who's free, their rough price and what they need from you. Each answered call is $1 for the first 2 minutes.

Event work means finding the one vendor who's free on your date: entertainment for a brand activation, a tent and chairs, a food truck, extra crew. Most of them only answer the phone. Your agent can make all those calls at once and hand you a short list.
What your agent does
- call_around finds vendors of the kind you name near the place (
query+near, or severalqueriesfor related trades) and calls them in parallel with the same goal and questions. - Each call asks whether they can do the date, a ballpark price and what they'd need from you (insurance certificate, a site visit, a deposit). The assistant gives your
callback_numberto anyone interested. - get_batch returns one table: who's available, their price, and notes. Questions a vendor asks mid-call come back to your agent while they wait.

Example result
Illustrative example: vendors and prices are made up.
| Vendor | Available | Ballpark | Insurance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Northside Tree Co. | Yes | $900 for two operators | Yes, certificate on request | Wants the site address first |
| Pecan Arbor Care | No | Booked that weekend | ||
| Gulf Coast Tree Pros | Yes | $1,200 | Yes | Will call Jordan back |
| Bayou Tree Service | Voicemail | Not charged |
Your agent's summary: "Two can do it: Northside ($900) and Gulf Coast ($1,200), both insured. Northside wants the site address."
Tips
- Say it's paid work and give the date, hours and location up front: vendors decide in the first few seconds.
- Put "just gathering quotes, don't book anything" in the goal. The assistant then passes on any booking offer itself.
- Use
stop_afterif you only need one ("stop after 2 vendors say yes") andmax_spend_usdfor the whole batch. - This is for paid work you're hiring for. It isn't for selling to businesses, which most of them hang up on.
What it costs
$1 per answered call that wraps up within 2 minutes, then $0.40 a minute. Vendors who don't answer cost nothing. Eight vendors is usually $5 to $8.

Questions
How many vendors can it call?
call_around finds and calls 1 to 100 places with the same questions, up to 10 at a time, and stops early with stop_after or max_spend_usd. More than 10 places shows you the list and the estimated cost first.
Will vendors think it's spam?
It's an inquiry about paid work, which most vendors want. The assistant says who it's calling for, on a recorded line, gets to the point, and gives your number to anyone interested. Businesses can ask not to be called again, and CallForMe honors that for every customer.
Can it book the vendor?
It can, but for a first round it's better to ask for availability and a rough price only, then follow up yourself with the ones you like. Say "don't book anything" in the goal.
