Have your AI agent call to ask if someone is working today
Short answer: Tell your agent who you want to see, at which location, and when you could come in. CallForMe calls the store and asks whether that person is working today, until what time, and whether they have time for you, then your agent tells you in one line. Each answered call costs $1, and most of these take under 2 minutes.

You worked with one salesperson on the couch, one stylist knows your hair, one pharmacist sorted out your insurance last time. Driving over to find out it's their day off is the part worth skipping. It's a 1-minute phone call, and your agent can make it.
What your agent does
- find_business if you only gave the store's name and area. That returns the number and today's hours.
- place_call with the person's name and role, the location, and when you could come in:

Illustrative example: the store, names and times are made up. Transcript excerpt:
Store: Harbor Home, this is Kim.
Assistant: Hi, this is an assistant calling for Alex Chen, on a recorded line. I'm trying to find out if Dana in sales is working today.
Store: She is, she's here until 6.
Assistant: Great. Would she have time to see Alex around 3?
Store: Should be fine, she's got nothing booked then. I'll let her know.
Assistant: Thank you, that's everything.

Where this comes up
- Furniture, mattress, appliance and car sales, where you want the person who already knows your order or your quote.
- Salons and barbershops that don't book online, or when your stylist works only some days.
- Pharmacies, when one pharmacist already knows your prescription or your insurance problem.
- Repair counters and service desks, to reach the advisor who has your ticket.
- Bakeries, butchers and tailors, where one person handles custom orders.
Tips
- Say the role and the location. "Dana in sales at the Maple Avenue store" gets a faster answer than a first name alone, especially at chains.
- Give a window, not only a time. "Between 2 and 4" lets the store say yes without checking a calendar.
- Add a fallback. "If she's not in, ask when she's next working" turns a no into a plan.
- Leave the reason out unless it helps. "To finish the order we started Saturday" helps; your budget doesn't.
What it costs
$1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes. This kind of call almost always fits inside that.

Questions
Will the store tell a caller who's working?
Usually, when the caller asks for someone by name as a customer. Stores and salons get these calls all day: "Is Dana in today?" If a store won't share schedules, the assistant asks when is a good time to reach that person instead.
Can it ask them to hold time for me?
Yes, if your goal says so. Give a time window and your name, and the assistant asks whether they can expect you then. If the store asks for anything the goal doesn't cover, your agent gets the question while the call is live.
What if the person isn't in today?
The assistant asks when they're next working, and whether someone else can help with the same thing. You get both answers.
What does it cost?
$1 when the store picks up, including the first 2 minutes. These calls usually end well inside that. If nobody answers, or it goes to voicemail within the first minute, there's no charge.
