Confirm a reservation with a quick call from your AI agent
Short answer: Give your agent the booking details: the name it's under, the dates or time, the party size or room, and the confirmation number. CallForMe calls the place itself and checks that they have it and that the details match, and asks about anything you requested. If they can't find it, it asks what they'd need to look it up and brings that back. $1 per answered call.

A confirmation email says someone took your booking. It doesn't always mean the hotel, restaurant or rental counter has it. Bookings made through a site or app reach the place later, and sometimes with the wrong dates, the wrong room, or not at all. The check is a short phone call, and it's an easy one to hand to your agent.
What to check
| Place | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Hotel | The name, dates, room type and guests; late arrival or early check-in notes; whether it's prepaid |
| Restaurant | The name, date, time and party size; a high chair, a booth, an occasion |
| Rental car or equipment | Pickup time and place, the class or item, the return time |
| Tour or class | The date, time, number of people, where to meet |
What to give your agent
- The name on the booking and the confirmation number.
- The dates or time, the party size or room.
- Where you booked it, if it wasn't with the place directly.
- Any requests you want checked, and a
callback_numberin case they want to reach you.
What your agent does
- find_business for the place's own number. Call the place, not a central line, when you can: the front desk sees what's in their system today.
- place_call with the details:

Tips
- Confirm a few days ahead, and again the day before for anything that matters.
- Ask them to add requests while they have it open. A late arrival or a crib is easiest to add on the same call.
- Get the name of the person you spoke with. It helps if the booking goes missing later.
What it costs
$1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes, then $0.40 a minute. A line that doesn't answer costs nothing.

Questions
Why call if I have a confirmation email?
The email comes from whoever took the booking. When that's a booking site or app, the hotel or restaurant gets the booking from it later, and now and then it never arrives or arrives with different details. A two-minute call to the place itself is the only way to know it's in their system.
What if they can't find it?
The assistant asks what they need to look it up (another name, the booking site's number, an email) and tries what's in details first. If nothing works, the result says so and your agent can call the site you booked with. Don't give card numbers on the call; the place can't take payment from the assistant anyway.
Can it change the booking too?
It can ask for a change on the same call, like a later arrival or a high chair. A change that affects the price or the dates is something it checks with your agent first. For bookings made through a third-party site, the place may say changes have to go through that site.
What does it cost?
$1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes, then $0.40 a minute. Most confirmation calls fit in the first 2 minutes. A place that doesn't answer costs nothing.
