On September 24, 2026, Google started testing Call for Me, a feature that lets Gemini phone stores, restaurants, and other businesses for you. It books appointments, puts items on hold, and reschedules reservations. It introduces itself, waits on hold, navigates phone menus, and shows a live transcript you can take over at any time. The test needs a Pixel 11, a paid Gemini subscription, and the Phone app beta, and it's US and English only (TechCrunch, 9to5Google).
