Assistants that can add calling with a connector
CallForMe is a remote MCP server, so any assistant that accepts one can use it. You add one URL, https://callforme.tel/mcp, and connecting asks for no email or card. Each of these has its own setup steps:

An agent with no MCP support can still use it if it can run shell commands or make web requests, through the skill file and REST API. The full agent list has the rest. Meta Muse has its own page because we haven't confirmed that it accepts MCP servers.
What your assistant does once it has a phone
Your assistant decides what to ask. A voice assistant dials the business, works the phone menu, waits on hold, and asks your questions. Can ChatGPT make phone calls?
Not on its own. Add CallForMe from ChatGPT's plugin directory, on any plan, and ChatGPT can call businesses and report back.
Can Claude make phone calls?
Not on its own. Add CallForMe as a custom connector in claude.ai or Claude Desktop, or with one command in Claude Code.
Which assistant is best for phone calls?
Start with the one you already use. If it supports MCP connectors, adding a calling tool keeps your context in one place. If you have a Pixel 11 and a paid Gemini plan, Gemini Call for Me calls from your own number.
What kinds of numbers can these assistants call?
It varies. With CallForMe, any assistant can call businesses in the US and Canada, including toll-free numbers. It won't call personal numbers, emergency lines like 911, or premium 900 numbers.
