Have AI call suppliers and wholesalers for prices and stock
Short answer: Tell your agent the exact item (size, grade, part number), the quantity and your delivery ZIP. CallForMe calls your suppliers, asks the price per unit or case, what's in stock, the minimum order and the lead time, and your agent puts the answers side by side. It won't place an order unless you say so.

Supplier calls are about the same three things every time: what does it cost this month, do you have it, and how fast can it get here. Your agent can ask all your suppliers at once and give you one table.
Paste this into your agent
Call our three paper suppliers and ask the price per case of 80lb gloss cover, how many cases they have in stock, the minimum order and the delivery lead time to 75024. Give me a comparison table.
Other supplier calls:
- "Ask the two restaurant supply houses near me if they have 20 cases of 16oz deli containers in stock and the case price."
- "Call our packaging supplier and confirm whether our order for 500 mailer boxes ships this week."
- "Ask 4 electrical supply houses the price for 500 feet of 12/2 Romex and whether they deliver to 46220."
What the supplier will ask
- Your company name or account number. Have your agent call as you at your company ("Sam at Ridgeline Print Co") so the assistant says it up front.
- The exact item: size, grade, color, part or SKU number.
- The quantity, and whether you want delivery or will pick up.
- The delivery ZIP or address.
Put these in details so the answers come back on the first call instead of as a question mid-call.
Questions worth asking
- Price per unit and per case, and is there a price break at a higher quantity?
- In stock now, and how many?
- Minimum order?
- Lead time to your ZIP, and the delivery charge?
- Can they hold the stock, and for how long?
How call_around works for suppliers
Give call_around your suppliers' numbers with phones (they're usually not the closest places on a map), the same goal and questions for each, and your agent compares the answers. To find new ones, use query: "paper wholesaler" (or the trade you need) near your ZIP.
What trips these calls up
- Account-only pricing. Some suppliers quote only to existing accounts or send pricing by email. The assistant asks and reports where the quote will go.
- Sales reps. Many wholesalers route pricing to a named rep who may be out. The assistant asks for the rep's direct line and when they're back.
- Price changes. A phone quote can differ from the invoice. Ask for a quote number or an emailed confirmation when it matters.
What it costs
$1 per supplier that answers, including the first 2 minutes. A call with a short hold usually runs 3 or 4 minutes: $1.40 to $1.80. Three suppliers at about 3 minutes each: about $4.20.

Questions
Will a supplier quote by phone?
For stock items, usually yes, especially if you're an existing account. Some quote only to account holders or send a formal quote by email; the assistant asks where to send it and reports that.
Can it place the order?
Only if your goal says to and you've set limits in constraints. By default it gathers prices and stock and doesn't commit to anything.
Do I need an account number?
It helps. Existing accounts often get account pricing, and many suppliers look you up by account number or company name before quoting.
What does it cost?
$1 per supplier that answers, including the first 2 minutes, then 40 cents a minute. Calls nobody answers are free.
