Let your AI agent make your small business's phone calls
Short answer: Add CallForMe to the agent you already use and hand it your routine business-to-business calls: price and stock checks with suppliers, quotes from several vendors at once, delivery and appointment confirmations, and questions about your own accounts. It calls, gets through the menu and the hold, and reports back with the answers and a transcript. It calls businesses only, never personal numbers, and it isn't for cold sales calls.

Running a small shop means a steady stream of short calls to other businesses: is the stock in, what's the case price this month, will the delivery land Thursday, why did the bill change. Your AI agent can make them and hand you the answers.
The short answer
Add CallForMe to the agent you already use, then ask for the call in plain words. The assistant says who it's calling for, on a recorded line, gets through the menu and the hold, asks your questions, and checks back with your agent if the business needs something you didn't include.
Calls that fit
- Suppliers: price per unit or case, stock on hand, minimum orders, lead time to your ZIP. See calling suppliers and wholesalers.
- Vendor quotes: ask several at once with call_around and get a comparison. See quotes from several businesses.
- Confirmations: a delivery window, a pickup time, a contractor's arrival.
- Your own accounts: billing questions with a carrier, utility or software vendor. These usually verify the account holder, so pass the account number and billing ZIP, and your number as
transfer_toif they need you on the line. See hold and patch-in. - Callbacks a business asked for: another company asked you to call them back about an order or a quote.
What it doesn't do
CallForMe calls businesses about an errand you need done. It isn't a dialer for cold sales calls or telemarketing, and it won't call personal numbers. Businesses can opt out of CallForMe calls at any time, and the assistant says it's an AI whenever asked. See is it legal for AI to call a business.
Making the calls go well
- Ask everyone the same questions so the answers line up. A table of price, stock and lead time is easy to compare.
- Say who's calling: tell your agent to call as you at your company ("Sam at Ridgeline Print Co"). The assistant opens with that, and vendors look your account up by company name.
- Give what they'll ask for: your account number with that vendor, the item's part number or size, your delivery ZIP.
- Put limits in constraints ("don't place an order", "don't agree to anything over $300") so nothing is committed without you.
What it costs
$1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes, then 40 cents a minute. Calls nobody answers are free. A quick stock or price check is usually $1. Try it first with a free demo call.
