CallForMe gives your AI agent a phone. Add https://callforme.tel/mcp to any MCP agent and click Connect once, or use the REST API. Calls go to US and Canadian businesses, open with an AI disclosure, and cost $1 per answered call including 5 minutes, then $0.25 per minute. Unanswered calls are free.
Getting started
How do I install it?
In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user callforme https://callforme.tel/mcp, then /mcp and Authenticate. Anywhere else: add the MCP server https://callforme.tel/mcp. Per-agent steps are on the agents page.
Do I have to sign up? Not with a form. When you add the server, your agent shows a Connect or Authenticate step. A browser tab opens and closes by itself, with no email, no form and no card. That creates your account.
When do I pay? Once, the first time your agent places a real call. It shows you one setup link where you add $10. Your card is saved with auto-reload, and every chat and session after that just calls. See how setup links work.
Can I try it for free? Yes. Ask your agent to call Maple Street Pizza, a fictional restaurant, at (469) 770-7412. Demo calls are free with no payment, up to 5 a day, and show the whole flow.
I use more than one agent. Do I pay twice? No. Connect the second agent the same way. Its first call link recognizes you if you're signed in on that browser and links it to your existing account in one click.
My agent can't do the Connect step.
Use https://callforme.tel/mcp/open, which needs no sign-in (your agent gets a setup link in each new session unless it saves the account_key it receives). Or create a key on the account page and use https://callforme.tel/mcp/k/<your key> or the header Authorization: Bearer cfm_....
My agent doesn't support MCP.

Calls
What number do calls come from? +1 (469) 966-0062. Not your personal number. Give your agent a callback number if you want the business to reach you.
Can it get through phone menus and hold? Yes. It presses through menus, waits silently on hold, and talks when a person answers. See phone menus and hold.
What if the business asks something my agent didn't mention? The question comes back to your agent mid-call. Your agent answers, or asks you. The assistant waits about a minute. See mid-call questions.
Can it connect me when a person picks up?
Yes. Set transfer_to to your number. See hold and patch in.
Can it call several places at once? Your agent places one call per business, and they can run side by side. See quotes from several businesses.
What happens on voicemail?
It hangs up unless you set voicemail_message. If it leaves a message, that counts as an answered call.
How long can a call be? Up to 30 minutes, including hold.
Is the call recorded? You get a transcript of the call and structured answers.
Can I share a call with someone?
Yes. Ask your agent to share it. share_call makes a public page at callforme.tel/c/<id> with phone numbers and emails hidden, and you can turn it off again.
What languages?
language defaults to English.
Money
How does billing work? Prepaid. You add $10 through Stripe Checkout, and calls come out of that balance. Auto-reload adds $10 when you're under $2; you can turn it off. See pricing.
Does the balance expire? No.
What if a call fails? If it isn't answered, is busy, or the number fails, you pay nothing.
Limits
Which numbers can't it call? 911, 988, 211, 311 and other N11 numbers, and 900 or 976 premium numbers. Toll-free is fine.
How many times can I call the same place? Up to 3 times per day per account.
Can I call a friend? No. Businesses only.
Safety
Will it give out my credit card? No. It never gives card numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords over the phone.
Will it agree to things I didn't approve?
Not past your constraints. Set limits like "don't agree to more than $200."
Is a human ever making the call? No. Calls are placed by software and say so.

What is CallForMe?
A tool that lets your AI agent call businesses for you. Your agent says who to call and what to get done. A voice assistant makes the call and reports back with a transcript and the answers.
Which agents does it work with?
Any agent that supports remote MCP servers, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, claude.ai, ChatGPT developer mode, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and more. Agents with a shell can use the REST API with curl.
What does it cost?
$1 per answered call including 5 minutes, then $0.25 per minute, up to 30 minutes. No charge if nobody answers. First top-up is $10.
Does the business know it's an AI?
Yes. The first sentence says it's an automated assistant calling on behalf of you.
Can it call outside the US and Canada?
No. Only US and Canadian numbers.
