Have AI call your internet or cable provider
Short answer: Tell your agent the provider, the account number, the service address and what you want: a lower bill, a fee removed, a cancellation, a move or an outage update. CallForMe works the menu and waits on hold. Providers usually verify the account holder, so pass your number as transfer_to and the assistant connects you when a person needs to check it's you. $1 per answered call, then $0.40 a minute.

Calls to the internet or cable company are long menus, long holds, and a retention pitch at the end. Your agent can handle the menu and the wait, ask the questions, and bring you in only when the provider needs to check it's you.
Paste this into your agent
Call my internet provider and ask them to lower my bill: I pay $95 a month for 500 Mbps, account 8812-4410, billing ZIP 75024. Ask about current promotions and what a cheaper plan would cost. If they need to verify me, connect me at (214) 555-0100.
Other provider calls:
- "Call my cable company and ask them to remove the $12 late fee on my last bill, account 4410-2290. It was paid two days late, the first time in three years."
- "Cancel my internet service at 12 Elm St, account 8812-4410, effective November 30. Decline any offers. Get the confirmation number, the final bill date and how to return the router. Connect me at (214) 555-0100 if they need me."
- "My internet has been down since this morning at 12 Elm St, account 8812-4410. Ask if there's an outage, when it'll be fixed, and whether I get a credit."
What the provider will ask
Internet and cable providers are account-holder calls in plan_call. A bill goal flags the billing ZIP (with the account number), a cancellation flags the account number, and both get the tip to set transfer_to, because the provider will want to verify you. Have these ready:
- The account number and the name on the account.
- The service address and billing ZIP.
- What you pay now and the plan you have.
- Your number, as
transfer_to.
Leave PINs, passwords and the last four of your Social Security number out of the request: the assistant never reads them out, and that's what transfer_to is for.
Questions worth asking
- For the bill: current promotions for existing customers, a cheaper plan with the speed you need, and when the new price ends.
- For a fee: whether they'll remove it as a one-time courtesy.
- For a cancellation: the final bill date, any early termination fee, and how to return the equipment.
- For an outage: the ticket number, the estimated fix time, and whether a credit applies.
- Always: the agent's name and a reference number.
What it costs
$1 per answered call, including the first 2 minutes, then $0.40 a minute, up to 30 minutes. A 15-minute call with a long hold is $1 + 13 × $0.40 = $6.20. A call nobody answers costs nothing.

Questions
Will they talk to an assistant?
For general questions (prices, promotions, outages in an area), usually. For anything on your account, most providers verify the account holder with a PIN, security question or a code texted to you. With transfer_to, the assistant waits through the menu and the hold and connects you for that part, so you skip the waiting.
Can it cancel my service?
It can ask for the cancellation, decline the retention offers you tell it to decline, and get the final bill date, the equipment return steps and a confirmation number. Many providers want the account holder on the line to cancel, so pass transfer_to. See cancel a subscription by phone.
How long are the holds?
They vary by provider and time of day, and retention or cancellation lines can be long. Set max_cost_usd to cap the call (3 is about 7 minutes). Calls end on their own at 30 minutes ($12.20).
What about an outage?
Give the service address and the account number. The assistant asks whether there's a known outage, the estimated fix time, and whether a credit applies, and brings back the ticket number.
