Have AI call nail salons, in English or Vietnamese
Tell your agent the service, how many people and when. CallForMe calls the nail salon and books it, and your agent can set the call's language to Vietnamese, Korean or another supported language so the person at the front desk hears their own language. Results come back in English. Each answered call costs $1.
Nail salons take most bookings by phone or walk-in, and the call is quick: what service, how many, when. The thing that makes these calls go wrong is language, and CallForMe can handle that up front.
Paste this into your agent
Call nail salons near 77036 in Vietnamese and find one that can do gel manicures and pedicures for 3 people this Saturday at 2pm. Book it for Linh.
Other nail salon calls:
- "Call Lotus Nails and ask how long the wait is for a walk-in pedicure right now."
- "Ask 4 nail salons near me what a full set of acrylics costs and whether they do nail art."
- "Book a dip powder manicure at the salon on Bellaire tomorrow after 4pm."
Setting the language
Pass language with the call (for example "Vietnamese" or "Korean"). The assistant opens in that language. Without it, every call opens in English and switches to Spanish by itself if the person answers in Spanish. For other languages the setting has to be chosen before dialing. If a call fails because the salon spoke a supported language you didn't set, CallForMe refunds it and calls back once in that language. See calls in other languages.
What the salon will ask
The word salon puts the call in the appointment category of plan_call, so it flags a name, the date and time with a range, and a callback number. Nail salons also ask:
- Which services: gel or regular polish, full set or fill, pedicure type.
- How many people, and whether you need to sit together.
- Removal of old gel or acrylic (it adds time and cost).
Questions worth asking
- Price per service, and whether removal costs extra.
- Can three techs take you at the same time?
- Do they take cards or cash only? Some charge a card fee.
- How long the visit takes.
How call_around works for nail salons
query: "nail salon" near your zip with stop_after: 1 and language: "Vietnamese" calls each salon in Vietnamese until one books you. If the area is mixed, leave language unset and rely on the automatic language callback. For walk-in waits, skip the booking and ask only "how long is the wait right now" across count: 5.
What trips these calls up
- Busy afternoons. Weekend afternoons are packed and phones ring out. Calls before noon get answered more often.
- Group size. A salon with two techs free can't seat three at once. Put "OK to stagger by 30 minutes" in
if_askedif that works for you. - Walk-in only. Some salons don't book at all. The assistant reports the current wait instead.
What it costs
$1 per salon that answers, including 5 minutes, in any language. Four salons, three pick up, one books: $3.

Questions
Why call a nail salon in Vietnamese?
Many nail salons in the US are run by Vietnamese speakers, and some front desks are more comfortable in Vietnamese on the phone. Setting the language avoids a confused call that ends early.
What if I set the wrong language?
Every call understands English and Spanish. If the language you set doesn't fit, the person usually switches to English and the call continues.
Does the summary come back in English?
Yes. Whatever language the call was in, the answers, summary and booked time come back in English.
Can it book a group?
Yes. Say how many people and which services each wants. Groups of 3 or more often need a heads-up so the salon has enough techs at once.
