Have AI call urgent care clinics for you
Tell your agent what you need treated and your insurance. CallForMe calls urgent care clinics near you and asks the current wait, whether they take your plan, the self-pay price, and whether they can handle it on site, like X-rays or stitches. You get a short list of where to go. Each answered call costs $1.
Urgent care is a choice between three or four clinics, and the right one depends on the wait, your insurance and what they can do on site. That's three calls you don't want to make with a sprained ankle. Your agent can make them at the same time.

Call urgent cares near 19103 and ask the current wait, whether they take Aetna, and whether they have an X-ray on site for a possible sprained ankle.
Other urgent care calls:
- "Ask urgent cares near me which ones do a rapid strep test for kids and the self-pay price."
- "Call the urgent care on Walnut Street and ask what time they stop taking walk-ins tonight."
- "Ask 3 clinics if they do a DOT physical today and what it costs."
What the clinic will ask
plan_call doesn't have an urgent care category. If your goal says clinic or appointment, it treats the call as both an appointment and a medical call and flags a name, a date and time, a callback number and a date of birth. The word insurance adds a member number to that list, and a tip to patch you in with transfer_to, because insurers verify the account holder. For a wait-time and network check at a clinic you don't need any of it. Write the goal as a question ("ask the current wait") and say in constraints that no personal details should be shared. Clinics may ask:
- Insurance carrier and plan.
- The reason for the visit, to tell you whether they can treat it.
- The patient's age (some don't see infants).
Questions worth asking
- How long is the wait for a walk-in right now?
- In network with this plan?
- X-ray, stitches, lab tests on site?
- Self-pay price for a basic visit and for this problem.
- When do you stop taking walk-ins today?
How call_around works for urgent care
query: "urgent care" near you with count: 4 and the default 5 at a time means all four calls happen at once and the table is ready in a few minutes. Places closed now are skipped automatically. Add queries: ["walk-in clinic"] to include retail clinics. Keep questions to three or four (wait, insurance, X-ray) so each call stays short and the table stays readable.
What trips these calls up
- Online check-in. Many chains manage the line through online check-in and will tell you to use it. The assistant reports that and asks for the current wait anyway.
- Closing time. Clinics stop taking walk-ins before they close. Calls in the last hour may hear "we're full for tonight."
- Waits change fast. A 20 minute wait can be an hour by the time you arrive. Go soon after the answer comes in.
What it costs
$1 per clinic that answers, including 5 minutes. These calls are short. Four clinics: $4.

Questions
Should I use this in an emergency?
No. For chest pain, trouble breathing, a head injury or anything life-threatening, call 911 yourself. CallForMe can't call 911 and is for routine questions.
Will the clinic tell an AI the wait time?
Usually, yes. The front desk can say how many people are waiting and whether they're taking walk-ins. Some point you to an online check-in instead.
Does it share my health information?
Only what you put in the call. For a wait time and insurance check, the plan name and the reason for the visit are enough.
What does a self-pay urgent care visit cost?
It varies by clinic and what's done. Ask for the base visit price and the add-ons, like an X-ray, a strep test or stitches, so you can compare.
